Oil leak

Hey so, been leaking bad. Had multiple locations. Didn't know about upper gasket on oil pan. Did lower and new oil pan. Was going through over 3 quarts a week. After that fix down to about 2 a week. Wiped everything down to see where leak was. From what I can see looks like rms. Anyone have suggestions if think it is rms or upper oil pan? If so rms does the oil pan have to come off?. I am new to this sight. And like the rest of you I love my maxima

Are you leaking or burning oil? Some VQ35DE's can burn through a quart of oil in 240 miles. Maybe try adding some U/V dye to the oil to see exactly the source of the leak.

I only drive maybe 8 miles a day and am going through at least 2 quarts a week. There is oil leaking and there is the oil burning smell. I do know oil is leaking on to exhaust

if youre leaking 2qts a week you would be literally dripping oil from everywhere under the car. my old DE was burning about 1qt per tank of gas.

That's how bad the leak is and it is only coming down on the driver side where the transmission is
