Question regarding coilovers...

What coilover is good to put in my 2002 Nissan Maxima SE? Which brand is the best? What brand do you reccommend? How much does it cost approximately?

The only ones made are Cattman's ( i have) and ground control. JIC is working on one and will be out later. I like cattmans they are good, do make noise but that can be solved. Ground control is a sleeve and spring, you gotta get the rest. So you decide.

The best one's are made by JIC. They are a major racing company out of japan. Call Kenny at STILLEN at 1-800-576-2139 ext 185. Tell him Alex Q from Chicago sent you. They are 19 way adjustible for firmness or softness. A lot better than the AGX's

The kit is awesome and all inclusive, you dont have to buy anything extra, the ride is a bit firm but I guess thats to be expected from any type of drop. They are noisy though, squeaky! GC's are noisy too! How do you fix that squeaky problem with the Cattman's?

Mine arn't really squeky more like on a bump you hear the metel rear mount hit the car, metel to metel noise. So i came up with the idea of making a polyurethane washer about .25" and put it in there. I think it will work good, but I havn't tested it cuz nobody will reply to me...Sob's

I see... try someone else since they're too "busy" to talk to you.

The only big one I found with google is powerflex. Never heard of them gonna have to look at um more.

The ones Ive tried already (calling and all) were suspension techniques, and energy suspension. I went those cuz there the biger companys that do poly suspension parts.

Other than that not much good came up, for me.
