Does anybody have a 2k2 max with meridian edition (heated seats) with a cloth interior?

Most other car manufactures only offer heated seats with leather. The nissan website (and carsdirect) both allow the heated cloth configuration, but I was wondering if it actually exists.

I have them on my 2k2SE black cloth with heated seats.

 

2K1 w/ Cloth, Meridian.

 

I have the Meridian option (heated seats) on both of my Max's. My 2kSE has cloth and the 2k1SE has leather. They work well on both...actually they are faster and get hotter on the leather, but the leather starts out colder. In Summary - works well on both tyeps of seats.

 

You guys in US are really lucky! You have an AE Max 2K1 with cloth!

When I looked for a Max (2K), I couldn't buy an SE with cloth in Canada. SE came with leather, Bose and other things. I know it was the same for 2K1. I would gladly have accepted the Bose system (although I managed through that)and others, but I really didn't want the leather package (come here and jump in a leather seat when it's -30F, and you may understand what I mean..). So I bought a GXE (but with auto, because of wife, , and the Convenience package (which is nice!).... but I miss the SE handling.

Now, for year 2002, the SE is offered again in Canada with cloth (it was offered in 99). Strange marketing....

Sorry for this long thread, but I had to vent... after 2 years!!
