Car die while making a turn...

today, I was coming home.. and I was making the right turn into my apt. complex.. so I was in second gear.. doing about... 20-25mph? and all of the sudden.. the car shuts down and.. good thing that my feet is on the brake already so I was able to stop without hitting the curb... the only thing I have done to engine componet is added a 4th gen FSTB (with a little hacking..)... the car started right back up again and it's running fine...anyone know what could be the problem... maybe my feet accidently hit my keychain(I have a bunch of key on it.. my 2 key for apt. my 5th gen remote, my 4th gen key and remote..)and shut it off? just a little worry my baby is dying...

Thats a sure sign from above that you should sell your car, or put more mods in it. Your choice.

DO you have a 5-speed?

the engine tends to stall sometimes. There is an ECU reprogram for that.

If its the 4th gen, a lot of keys can cause ignition to turn off.

If its the 5th gen 5spd - see dealer.

By the way, if its the 5spd and it does that and you are moving, just let the clutch out (or push in and let out) and your car will start.

no.. the car doesn't tend to stall... it had never happen before...

it's a 5th gen..... now I think back... could it been that I was actually in 4th gear instead of 2nd? had the music up pretty loud and I havn't slept for like 24 hours.. so maybe I wasn't pay attention too much.... so would 20mph in 4th gear make the car stall?

stalling

I've never stalled my car while still moving. Certainly trying to go from a stop in 4th could cause the car to stall.
