Where I can get brackets for Stillen RSB?

I returned my 2000 SE for trade in.
I only had 2 days to return it and I spent almost all day taking off the RSB, those stupid blue brackets from my car wouldn't come off. I couldn't do it....

I tried everything possible, but the bolts would not come out from those blue bracket. I took off the bar and now I don't know what to do with it.
I don't think I can even sell it. Anybody wants a Stillen RSB with just the bar...

Do you guys think that I can get or buy those blue brackets?

What to do?

Also, after taking the bar off, I drove my car and didn't really noticed that bigger of difference without it. Car still handled pretty well.

I am thinking of calling those peps at the dealer and asking them if they can take them off from my old car. I hope they didn't sell the car yet.

Do you guys think I can do that? Car was a lease, so technically I wasn't suppose to have installed anything on it.

Thanks.

I am not sure about your specific question...but I have heard if you swap out those bolts that come with the Stillen kit and go get some similar bolts that are stainless steel, that problem goes away.

Anybody else attest to that?

Sorry for getting off of the subject a little...

did you try drilling the bolts out?

If I turned in the lease forget about it.

See if stillen will sell you just the brackets...

I had a problem taking out the bolts of my sway bar and i had to use a hack saw to get them out. Had to do this twice. Even with SS bolts it was a pain. I think I remember asking stillen for the blue brackets and someone e-mailed me telling me that they do not sell them seperate, but try calling them or e-mailing them to find out for sure.

That sucks.

If I can't get those brackets, the bar is pretty useless.
I need to think what I can use it for then.

I will try to call Stillen and ask if they sell them seperate.

Thanks.

Do you have any Liquid Wrench. That stuff works wonders. Before you drill the bracket out, spray the bolts with A LOT of Liquid Wrench and let it drip for a few minutes. After that, a breaker bar has got to get those bolts off.

Seeing as how it appears the dealer has the car in their hands...it is a good bet they have industrial strength Liquid Wrench sitting around. Just track down a mechanic in the service department and give him $50 to take the bolts off for you. Otherwise, I don't know if the dealer is going to care about what you left on the car before the trade.

Thanks.
