Fuel additives for 2k2 Max
Has anyone experimented with adding octane boost to premium unleaded fuel? Does it help performance/gas mileage???? If so, any recommendations to brand/type/etc????
Question 2: Another NOS Issue: I am thinking about this as an option; I do not want to add any other performance mods; Anyone out there running NOS in their 2k2 maximas? Results? Reliability? 0-60 & 1/4 times?

second, consult your dealer about fuel additives. Your manual suggests you dont (you'll need an injector rebuild = $$$). You can use a Nissan branded additive without voiding your warranty. That's why I suggest contacting them first.

Stay away from octone boosters. Stick with Amoco Ultimate, Chevron with Techron, etc.
If you need a fuel system cleaner, try Redline Total System Cleaner, it is a synthetic based product not pure mineral spirits like STP or Gumout.
