NOS on a new 2k2 6 speed maxima

I just bought a Nos system for my 2k2 maxima 6 speed
the jets offer a boost of 35, 45, and 75 hp gain instantly
I dont race at the tracks just bought it if the other feels lucky

any thoughts on this?

I'm impressed. A new 2K2 owner willing to put NOS on his new ride. My only concern would be voiding your warranty.

Why would you want any size shot of NOS on a brand new car thats pushing 255HP to begin with.like you need another 35-75hp.I would think it would be more harm than good.Get you $ back and do some cosmetic mods.Just my 2cents.

personally I say put the 45 shot on try to get 300 HP at the crank. NICE!

assuming NISSAN didn't inflate the HP numbers for the '02 Max's

But if you went witht the 75 shot ... you might put down 300 at the wheels. SWEET!

Looks like it might be time to go Mustang hunting after putting on some NOS (especially the 75 shot). Instead of just beating them or hanging them them you can hand it to them

I agree with i speed. I would go with somewhere around the 50 shot range. Such a small amount wont require any extra fuel.

compared to NOS, how much wear would a supercharger put on an engine? if it were available would a supercharger be a smarter choice for a newer car?
