Auto Pilot Cruise Control

Does anyone have experience with these things? It seems to me like it would be a useful feature. I noticed Lexus (LS430)and Infiniti(Q45) have these on some of their models as options, what do you think it would take to get one put on a 2k2 max? Are these simple devices or are they far more complex than I realize? BTW does anyone have any idea about cost?

Anyone? I tried the Lexus dealership and they didn't have a clue how it works or how many components come with them.

What's Auto Pilot Cruise Control? What does it do? My 2000 Maxima will not allow me to use the cruise control above 90 MPH (I hate it!). Will it fix this?...anyone know a way?

Any imput would be appreciated.

I think he means the advanced cruise control systems that adjust the cruise speed automatically according to traffic around you.

yep, I used one today in an LS430 test drive and really like it, much smoother than i expected it to be--if it can be done on my max i'd like to do it but no one has any info onit, i think i'm gonna try to call infiniti next week about it

Wow, I think I am going to have to go test drive one of those. Did they let you take it on the freeway? If you find any information about this for the Maxima, definately post about it. I'll look around too.
