Trust bar pics

I thought I'd post pics of my "Trust of Japan" strut bar I got off of Ebay for $60. The bar fits perfect and feels good in high speed turns. These bars kind of make you want to take high speed turns all the time just so you can feel the control.

Re: Trust bar pics

Looks exactly like Stillen FSTB. I had it on my 2000 Maxima and just installed it on my 2002 Maxima.
That Trust bar looks like a very good deal. Too bad I already have the Stillen FSTB on my 2002 Maxima.

That doesn't look like the Stillen FSTB at all. The Stillen one is flatter and has holes in it. It looks like the Courtesy Bar I have.

Unless you Auto-X, the RSTB I hear does nothing. Plus you have lowering springs, so you won't notice anything (that's my opinion.)

soundmike, this Stillen FSTB, the one that you displayed is for 4gen Maxima. I have Stillem FSTB in the arc form. It is for 5gen Maxima. Same arc form as that Trust Bar that jkratzer posted above.

The fifth gen looks similar except it is arced as you say but it's not a solid bar like what jkratzer has. The 5th gen Stillen bar looks similar, in fact it looks kike this and this

Yep, that is the one I got and it fits perfectly on 2002 Maxima.
It is solid bar, except it has holes in it.

Then in that case (not that i'm being an *ss or anything ok?) your statement "Looks exactly like Stillen FSTB" is not entirely true

Looks identical to the bar I got from Courtesy. Fit my 02SE no problem although it took a little of adjustment to get everything tight.

Maybe Courtesy has their bar made by Trust, or GReddy, as Emax says that Trust is GReddy in Japan. It must be more than just coincidence that the Courtesy bar is so similar to the Trust.

I doubt the "Trust" bar you got is made in Japan, probably imitation ones the seller got from Taiwan.

and everybody knows that Trust products are expensive..no way their bar costs anywhere near that price you got.

Just look at GAB products, you will know what their price range are!!!

The same thought crossed my mine also. I talked to the seller before I bought it and he says he gets the Trust bars in bulk from Japan and he insists it is the "Trust of Japan" bar. But you never know if you can trust sellers on Ebay. There are absolutely no markings on the bar or brackets anywhere so I can't tell where or by whom the bar is made. It is a high quality bar and seems well made with good welds.

I have the exact bar from ebay. It's clearly made in Taiwan ( http://community.webshots.com/album/29562707WUUMbMUpXe ). I knew the guy WAS and IS still misrepresenting his products when I purchased it. But I also knew that it was a decent product FOR THE PRICE.

He told me that the packaging was made in Taiwan but the bar was made in Japan.

hahaha.. boy, you've been HAD! you cannot print made in TW when the enclosed items are made in JP... plus, it's mandatory to print where to item is made all the time, not the packaging. my folks work in import and export business--these are the rules.

from what i recall, some people on here said that the Trust of Japan FSTB is not the same as Greddy of US (which is the same company, already mentioned). oh yeah, you should see a BIG "Trust" (in the company font) if it's really by Trust of Japan.

regardless, my courtesy FSTB is also made in taiwan and it's fine. it doesn't really matter where it's made, as long is it's quality and it gives you what you need.

True, but for products made in Taiwan, and you paid $65 US bucks for it. I can tell you that you just got ripped off like crazy!!!!

I bet those bars cost like less than $20 US to make .......and don't ask me why I know!!! The seller should really change names of those bars to "Trust Like" bars not "Tust Bar"

Nah. I did not get ripped because the Courtesy bar is also made in Taiwan and Courtesy charges $80 for it. This bar is as good as the Courtesy bar. I'm sure the Courtesy bar was cheap to manufacture. And the Stillen bar will really rip you a new one if you buy that one.

PS. Still someone needs to teach this seller a lesson. He has more for sell and is calling the "Genuine Trust of Japan" bars.
