Ok, I have 3800 miles on my 2k2 6 spd. Very often, not all the time, when accelerating the car feels like it misses, or almost like a downshift in an auto. Others have made the same remark out there, but I'm thinking this is a character trait that all of us have and it doesn't seem right to me. Who, if anyone, has complained and what has been done.

Also, anything coming out of the observations of the 2nd to 3rd gear grind???

I complained, the dealer told me to live with it for a few more miles and see if it "goes away" after the breakin. I have 3k miles, and it's still there. I plan to complain again during my oil change.

 

a drive by wire issue? My 5 speed AE has not exhibited this. Have them check EVERYTHING...you bought a car to be a ceratin way and it should be the way you expect.
