Out-braked a German...
What up all, I was on my way back up to school on I95. It was about 4:00pm and i was in the left lane about 7 - 9 carlengths behind a 97ish black BMW 328i doin about 70 or so. All of a sudden, about 500 feet in front of the BMW, a car flips over!! In an instant, i saw puffs of smoke coming from the BMW in front of me, so I put the brake to the floor. ABS engaged immediately, and I rode ABS down to 0 mph. I looked in my rearview to see if the guy behind me stopped in time (a late model caprice station wagon), and in horror, i see him sideways, smoke flying, and still approaching fast. I was like, this is it, im dead. When everything stopped moving, i looked to my front - the BMW was at an angle and less than a foot in front of me. I looked behind - the caprice was perpendicular to me, 3 feet behind, and into the wall on my left. Needless to say, I am very happy with Nisan's braking system, and very happy my guardian angel flies as fast as I drive. The highway was a mess for about a half hour. When they cleared away the car, there were tiremarks everywhere, and 4 other cars (besides the one that flipped) with damage. I know God and ABS were on my side yesterday. Stay safe people....

Now go to your dealer and complain about your rotors being warped.

Not sure, to tell ya the truth i was kinda shaken up by it all, and i went to a rest stope which was across the highway right there. The car that flipped was like 500 feet in front of the BMW.
You guys think my rotors are warped now?? I hope not, it still brakes smooth, and im sure it is designed to do a 70 - 0 w/o damaging anything. Ah well, id rather get new rotors than a new front clip and a new rear for the BMW....
