dvd question

i know, i already tried posting the question in the electronics forum, but i can't seem to get in for some reason.

what i want to know is if it's possible to wire an aftermarket dvd player to the cd changer control? if so which wires does it use?

i'm thinking of adding a mobile dvd player under the passenger's seat and mounting the screen where the sunglass holder is.

in two small words. HELL NO

The cd changer controls control a cd changer not a aftermarket dvd player. Im sorry if i sound mad, but mad people try to assume you can rewire a cd changer wire to anything they want. It aint that simple.

Need a new headunit as I am doing.

i was thinking of adding the clarion dvd/cd changer. check it out:

http://www.clarion.com/products/multimedia/multi2.htm

since it is a changer, and since it is a clarion, i was hoping it would work.

still the signal wiring is going to be a pain to figure out and it is still not gauranteed to work.
