WSP Y-Pipe

They are selling stainless steel TIG and MIG welded Y-pipes for $299 and $275 respectfully. What is the difference between these two besides price?

Its hard to explain the differences as I still dont understand them much myself. I work in a large manufacturing plant so I asked one of the welders here to explain the differences he did...but I got lost half way through. At the end he asked me what i would be welding I said exhaust he said tig is the only way to go holds up better under high heat conditions and should be a straonger weld.

Hope that helps.
