Does anyone know if they make a lower rear tie bar for the 5th gen max? If so will it fit the 2k2 also.

Um you mean a Sway bar. Yes there is one. I think it fits.

 

i actually meant lower tie bar, sorry new to the import scene

umm...i dont think maximas carry tie bars... but rear sway bar yes! i have one on my 2k Maxima with nice blue anodized clamps .urdy:.

 

I don't think Maxima's are capable of using tie bars. If i remember correctly the Tie bar acts similar to a sway bar but works best on cars with IRS, where the purpose is to keep both sides of the IRS connected.

 

On our Maxes we just have the Rear Sway Bar (RSB) and the Rear Strut Tower Bar (RSTB).
