leatherseats.com question

during the installation, what do you do about the lumbar lever on the driver's seat?

also, i've noticed some pictures that show a bit of 'looseness,' not much, on some of the corners. is that something that can be remedied with spray on upholstery adhesive? you know, the kind that they sell for the door inserts.

Of course I don't think you can find full front and rear leather seats for $550 no trying to be a smart *** but it is awesome quality much nicer than factory and cheaper too I would recommend getting in on the deal

well, i have factory leather already. maybe in a couple years when this stuff wears down, which i hope never happens, i'll get some two-tone leather covers from them.

The "looseness" of the leather is up to the installer. The leather from Leatherseats.com is more plush than the stock leather. They use more padding under the leather. This makes the seats feel more luxurious and softer. The leather is very high quality and has a nice thick grain. These covers aren't shiney and slippery like the stockers. I don't slide around in these seats. The front seats are entirely leather on the seating surface. Only the backs are vinyl. The rear bench uses only leather in the middle. All other surfaces are vinyl. This setup is much like stock. The vinyl used is very high quality and visually looks exactly like the leather. The vinyl is soft and pliable like the leather. The only difference is that the vinyl doesn't have that leather smell.

The advantages of the leather from Leatherseats.com are as follows:

-cheaper and better quality than factory
-choice of variety (perforated, two tone, inserts, contrasting door inserts)
-much better leather
-embrodiery
-two behind the seat map pockets instead of one

Install is easy once you get everything taken a part. The trick is to take your time. It took me about 15 hours total for everything. Cutting off the old hog rings and installing the door inserts was the hardest part. The lumbar lever is still used. You just slice a hole in the leather. Same goes for the headrest. You just have to be careful.

Once you're done, you have a look that's better than factory and your friends jaws will drop when they find out you installed the kit.
