What are these things. I have the H&R springs in my car. Do I need camber things?

I'll give it a try... Bear with me:

A camber plate mounts to the top of each front strut tower, and receives the top portion of each strut. Camber plates are designed to bolt-on, and they allow greater camber adjustment, usually about 3-degrees of adjustment compared to 1-degree of adjustment otherwise. Why would you need more camber adjustment than stock? Most commonly, to maintain good camber on cars lowered more than 1.5"-2.0". Or, to add negative camber to increase the cornering ability of a car. Zero camber prolongs tire life. Adding 1 to 3 degrees of negative camber increases a car's cornering ability. It's a trade-off. The happy middle? 1-degree of negative camber, and most of the time, you don't need a camber plate for that.

/ \ = negative camber, better cornering

| | = neutral camber, longer tire life

\ / = **** :-)
