Intake Sale!!

To you all that have been waiting for more stock to come in we have received a large shipment of K&N filters. I solved my supplier problem by switching to another vendor. I'm having another sale on intakes now that I have an ample supply to keep up with the demand.

On with the SALE!

Through March intakes are 20% off and FREE SHIPPING.

Original price - $74.50 + 7.95 S&H = $82.45
Promo price - $59.60 + 0.00 S&H = $59.60

There are comparable products out there with the same performance gains but that are almost triple the cost!

Ground Control Coilovers

$399 - FREE SHIPPING

I have that H&R GD but response has been mediocre.

Happy racing!

Because so many have been asking, I'll be nice this time and give you guys free shipping to Canada. However, insurance will be extra to Canadian shipments. US shipments always have insurance included for free.

UPDATE: I designed a new bracket that will fit across all 5th gens. They will be done in early April. If you have a 2002 you can order now at this price and I'll ship you intake when the brackets are complete.

Is there any difference in performance between your intake and the frankencar intake? Do you guys have any dyno's with and w/o the intake? I didn't see one on your site.

Anyone from the org have any feedback on the belkin intake?

Thanks in advance for any info.

Uhhhh . . .

How do we order the intake at the discounted price, Berkman? There appears to be NO WAY to do that at your web site.

Re: Intake Sale!!

How loud is your intake? Only at WOT, or all the time?

Thx

The intake is not loud. After 3000 it gets very beefy, but not loud. My opinion.

Some people have dynoed my intake in the Toronto area. Do a search and see what people have to say. One guy with a 2000 was running 15.0 quarter mile times before the intake, and 14.7 after. With just the intake. No other mods.

I tried searching "belkin" but this thread was the only one that popped up....I'd like to hear from other members that have used it before I decide.

Great price though...

And what if I want to pay by credit card and not use PayPal? And which e-mail address should I use? And whatever happened to the concept of making it easy for the buyer to buy what the seller is selling?

nice intake guys. take him up on this deal cuz it's a steal. the filter alone will run you $40 so you've got nothing to lose.
i installed mine a month ago and i'm in love with it. like cobymoby said, the sound isn't obnoxious, but definitely noticable above 3k rpm. at idle or cruising, there's a nice sucking/whistling sound like all the other intakes out there.
as far as performance, i noticed that throttle response is improved. i'm a city driver who places passing acceleration above standstill acceleration, so this is certainly a big plus for me.

btw, oddly enough my mileage has improved ~2 mpg as well. go figure.

Coby will send you a link to input your credit card info. I do not know him but I have had his intake for about a week and it is great, super affordably and easily installed.

I'm working on getting the site E-commerce enabled, I just have too many irons in the fire at the moment. You can pay by CC with Paypal. Just send me an email and I'll get an invoice out to you.

I have everything in stock and ready to ship for the 2000-01. The brackets will be done for the 2002's in about 2 weeks.

I'm traveling again on Friday and will not be back until Monday morning. I will try to answer emails on the road but I may not have access.

Thanks to those who like the intake and have said positive things about it.

Thanks for all your help, guys. The problem is, I just sent an e-mail to sales@berktuning.com requesting instructions for paying by credit card and the e-mail came back as undeliverable. So where's coby and where's that link he's supposed to send me? I'm not panicking, mind you. I'm just curious.

Hi Dave. I ran into another obsession. I saw my high school sweetheart for the first time in 40 years! She still looks great. Needless to say, she took my mind off my Maxima for awhile. Alas, she lives in Florida and I live in California. And although we gave it some thought, neither of us are about to leave our marriages to be together. So I'm back to my old obsessions again . . .

I just put the Berk in my 2000 SE last week. Maybe adding a little power - hard to tell for certain. It is almost as quiet as stock, until maybe 3500 RPM, then it growls. I like that growl sound though. Installing was very simple - but I had a bear of a time getting the stock box out - the freakin thing was really stuck good on the MAF adapter (I think that is what it was called). If not for that, it would have been much easier.... Wondering what he's got up his sleeve next...

not really loud at idle, it kinda comes on at around 3.5k rpm+
however, mine kinda has this "electronic whistling" sound with the growl....i know it sounds funny, but maybe it's the combo effect of the other mods

Bryan, any news on that mid-piece?

Just finished installing my Berk Intake. I had a matrix Motorsports before, which I gave away for this one. I got it installed in 10 minutes. It sounds great ! It sits nicely with a strap I put on it. I am waiting for the bracket. Has anyone tested this against the Frankencar intake. ??? I need a GREDDY EVO !!!

Bryan doesn't need anymore free positive press but I have to toot the fact that I got one back when he first started and was selling the complete intake (w/ K&N filters) for $39.90. I still love the thing after almost 4 months, but I wonder how Bryan makes money off of selling these things so cheaply!

If he makes a "mid-pipe" (to replace the expansion box ahead of the throttle body, right?) I'll happily place an order...because Bryan makes good products with REAL performance results for excellent prices.

Yeah, that's what I'm looking for too. But will it add to the performance?

You will feel a nice gain with this intake. I put it up against a Stillen and JWT and mine felt as good or better than both of them. Subjectively, I thought my intake had better low end torque than the other intakes.

Get your orders in before march is over!

I have the Berk intake and I really like it... I meant to ask if the upper or mid peice was forthcoming and if it is even valuable (see the group deal selling the cattman "upper intake pipe") http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....hreadid=106242
