Ok, tire test sure, keep thinking that. I also proved that a VR-4 is very shiety for a AWD car and is just a little bit quicker than a 2002 Maxima 6 speed, which has 4 doors.
huh? I don't know that you did that VR-4 is a crappy awd? I disagree. They have a pretty advanced awd system. But the VR-4 is not really built to be a 1/4-er. It's a GT in the 300z/Supra sense. To me, the fact that it took Ford until NOW to really put up a fast muscle car is pretty lame. I mean the GMs and their Vettes/WS6s etc.. have been over the 300hp mark for years.

I agree with the ford thing, I am not a ford fan but respect them. Actually andrew posted those numbers and stuff under my user name, because some how I was logged in to his computer here at work. His name is nummaonenutsaq. The 3000gt is a good car, I dont think it is as good as a Z or supra and really feel that it is full of bs and not as much of a "monster" as people are claiming. I just found out how bad the 3rd gen did on the skidpad and I am a little dissappointed now.
Andrew? TT andrew?
The VR-4s came with a lot of unneccessary do-dads that I could do without but the big GT car w/ AWD was pretty groundbreaking. I still don't know why you say they aren't as "good" as Z or Supras. They CAN be made to hold alot of power but the aftermarket is limited and the TT config is expenseive to work around.

u didnt prove or disprove anything, and the skidpad IS in fact a tire test more so than a test of suspension components and how well the car handles. Take for instance the new BMW M3, its skidpad results were merely satisfactory, and didnt put down the numbers people were expecting, does that mean it handles like crap, hell no, the slalom numbers tell the truth of the cars handling prowess, not the skidpad. Skidpad numbers DO in fact tell somewhat of a cars handling, but not nearly as much as the slalom time would, ask anybody on the forum that knows what they are talking about, they will agree with me that skidpad numbers dont mean much other than that the tires are really grippy.
