Is MSN Carpoint BS-ing????????

I was at carpoint.com looking at the reviews for the 2k2 max
it said 0-60mph time was 8.2 1/4 in 15.9, 6-speed 0-60 in 7.1 1/4 mile in 15.5 sec...
If im not mistaken...the 2k2 should be he!!a faster than that???!
Either they just have bad drivers or its the truth what do u guys think??

It's the reviewer at carpoint. He really needs to learn how to drive.

carpoint

You cannot take anything on the carpoint site with any seriousness. Just look over the reviews of the maxima. The majority of the reviews are 9+, and yet there are enough <2 reviews to bring the average down to 8+. When you look over the <2 reviews you see that most are cases of disgruntled consumers and The-I-Hate-Imports club. I don't understand how carpoint can accept any review (either positive or negative) where the person has the car <1 year, provides no pro's or con's, and a one line statement.

MSN should be more diligent about what they publish on their site.

...and you thought Sport Compact Car couldn't drive!!!

I think most of their performance testing is done UPHILL. Either that or they seriously cannot drive at all.

Have that magazine dis - engage the E - Brake before they do another test. It sounds like Motor Trend testing 89-93 Mustang 5.0's at a 15.3 1/4 mile, when everyone at the track was running low to high 14's... Your typical Grandpa Driver !
