Of all the current kits available (which is not too many), I would still go with the original Stillen kit. To me it adds a sporty and classy look at the same time. Go with the 1st Stillen kit!

I just purchased the Ninja body kit for my 2000 SE. I like the aggressive look and although the back was initially ugly to me, like another member said, it does grow on a person. I do not know if this kit will fit on the 2002, but that is my choice.

I don't think that the original Stillen aero kit will fit the front end cause of the fog lights and the new fascia design for the 02 max. She can only get the direct replacement bumper from Stillen, or the Ninja kit.

I believe the aero kit is the big mouth one. Can someone verify?

It looks horrible in the catalog but a member just recently got one and posted pictures. It actually looked good. But as I said before, the original kit still looks the best.

There are front lips available from Stillen for the 5th Gen. The 1st which Y2KevSE has, on that has gills which IceY2k has, and someone has the Bigmouth kit.

But as someone just stated, you might have to verify whether or not these kits fit on a 2K2.

Stllen Aero kit looks like AE, check out stille'ns website. I like their touring lip. Now, if you can combine that with their rear valance and sides, it'll look allright. I like the way Irvin 78's car looks.

btw to any of you who have kits installed, do you know what kind of weight do they add?

I like Maxstyles car with the stillen front fascia since he has the same color car I have it works for me. Add the rest of the stillen kit then your pimpin. Then you can put this on your plates
(PMPN8EZ)= pimpin ain't easy.

You could go with the Ninja/Sarona Designs front bumper replacement or the Stillen "Big Mouth" front bumper replacement. Stillen or Ninja/Sarona Designs sideskirts. Stillen rear valence or Ninja/Sarona Designs rear bumper replacement.

Ninja and Sarona Designs bodykits are basically identical, except the Ninja kit has two circular indentations on the sideskirts, from what I've seen. Ninja kit is made in Japan & Sarona Designs kit is made in U.S.A.

I used the new Stillen Touring Lip, Sarona Designs sideskirts, & the Stillen rear valence. Check out tons of pics on my homepage!!!

Peace,
Rich

approximately how much will it cost for a shop to paint the kit and install it for me?

Rick your car looks awesome. Can't wait to see it at some NE meets.

All the Stillen body kits are made of urethane, which is a flexible material. If you remeber in the Fast and the Furious when the orange Supra and the Charger were racing and they jumped the railroad, you could see the Supra's front end flex when it hit the ground. If that was fiberglass, which is the material the Ninja kit is made out of, it would have cracked or even snapped off.

The kit on the supra from the fast and the furious is from bomex a fiberglass bodykit company. Do you think stillen could tell me what color blue is the project IS 300.

Bomex uses fiberglass. Many kits from japan are really really really strong, yet not brittle. Some companies use a vacuum molded fiberglass, a process which strengthens the piece itself. That is why these parts are expensive.. its all about the time, money and RD devoted to these products. I drifted with my mr2 with a kaminari kit and rammed onto the curb resulting the right *** end to ride on the curb. I went home and inspected the sideskirt and it was not cracked nor morphed. Just a granite scratch and some paint chippings.

Urethane is very flexible on the streets. It wont crack (unlike cheap fiberglass kits) but, it will sag. Some heat will morph it back into its original shape though.

I think there is a r34 kit in the works. Search for it.. judging from the photochop pics, it looks pretty nice. Hope this helps.
