Generation 6 Maxima or 300M?

Thanks for the feedback on my previous post regarding the 300M by Chrysler. I have a 2001 Maxima AE. I guess I have new car fever; there is certainly nothing missing with my present Maxima.
I could wait until the Generation 6 comes out, but when will that be? Is there any information out about what the car will look like, specs. etc? I have a great deal on the 300M, but I drove it, and it is no Maxima --and I worry about quality. Thanks for your feedback

I would wait, or at the very least not buy the Chrysler, they have this annoying habit of falling apart. Also, check out the Infiniti G35 and Acura TL-S. They're both excellent cars in the high 20s, low 30s price range.

They are totally different cars. The 300 is a fine car....If you don't mind driving an automatic and a large car. They are somewhere around 8 seconds 0-60, so it's slower. And don't think I hate Chrysler...In fact, I could get a really good deal since my father works for Chrysler

The Maxima is a much better car. Hey, if you want to get rid of that AE, I might be able to take it off your hands

Chrysler Bad. Nissan Good (except for service anyway!) End of story.

Someone posted an article from autoweek yesterday. It had pictures of the new Infiniti M45, due out in October. It scheduled to bee in the low $40's. They site qutes that car to be slated in between th G35 and the Q45. There's no reason to beleive that the 6Th gen Max is not the Nissan twin to that car. 430 hp, rwd, yum, yum, yum. First looks might not knock you off your feet, but remember the first time you saw the 5th gen. Max. You just might want to wait a while to jump into a new car.

I with the others...mainly, cause I would never buy American, but enjoy your Max, cause like you said, a 300 is no max.
