That would be me!!! It was the 1st carshow I've ever entered so I'm really proud of myself. The show was packed...there was a line at least 100 yards long until about 10pm that night and there were hundreds of people there. I also couldn't believe the response my Maxima got...it wasn't the fanciest car there by far but I got many compliments on the simplicity of my presentaton plus my own combo of different bells & whistles. For all of you who dont know, the Max is VERY popular in NYC s many people approached me w/questions about the car and what I've done to it. It was great fun!
I'll admit that the competition for Nissan/Infinity was'nt too tough but...for a guy who never entered a carshow before, I was stilled AMPED!!! There was a 2002 3.5 Altima stock except for side-skirts and 18's, another 5th Gen, light-green, NOS, custom trunk, chrome 18's and CAI but pretty much stock other than that in terms of performance. Finally there was a 1st Gen Altima may a 93 or 94, kitted out, big ricey rear spoiler, lowering springs, custom hood and a cola-champagne paint job, NOS an a custom trunk also many trophies from past shows he'd won but that was it...
I knew I was in there the whole time and again the response wa incredible...they LOVED my SC and HKS BOV...the sound that the BOV makes.
Big-up to 190hpkilla, who showed up, a couple of other .ORG guys showed up, didnt remember their names, Delio, Kev, BigDog, NewClimax, Icey2k1, Jhanns, and everyone else who put up w/my annoying questions and helped me out! I held it down for the 5th Gens!!!
