Oil filter location
Oil filter location
I haven't looked under my new SE, but is the oil filter and drain plug easily reached from underneath (while the front tires are on small homemade ramps which provide an additional 4 inches of clearance)? Do I need to remove some plastic panel or something to get at them?

OOOPS, Mark, I was able to get at my wifes 01 SE without blocks. With that said, I would have preferred blocks of course. Drain plug is easy and in plain sight. The filter is on the passenger side back, nearly directly behind the tire. There is a plastic sheild, debris plate, in the way, but you can still get to the filter with ease. Just twist your hand a bit and you'll be fine. If you have oil, or filter needs, shoot me and email and lets see what I can do for you.
