I need to know how the install went for your APEXi Rev/speed? I have a couple of friends that are electronic freaks who are willing to help with the install. As long as I have the instructions they said it's do-able! In your "expert" opinion, do you think that this install should be done by professionals as the instructions suggest? How complicated is it? What are the possible bad outcomes of a improper install? If possible, would it be to much to ask for you to help me out with a little bit of tips and pointers? Also, there are a number of parameters that I need to know when setting this up right? Thanks in advance for your help!

bump: waiting for Kev
Install was really simple. The hardest part was getting in a comfortable position for the install.
Anything you mess up can be fixed (cutting the wires that is), but if you connect the wrong wire from the RSM to your ECU, you'll definitely mess something up.
If you friends can wire stuff, then this install shouldn't be a problem (unless you connected the wrong wires).
The RSM is not like the AFC, so you don't have to worry tinkering with the parameters (won't blow up your car). Make sure you calculate the tire correction percentage (if you went with aftermarket wheels), change the # of cylinders to 6, and use 8 for signal.

No not the HP thing the parameter where you have to set how fast the engine beats per sec or something like that? Sorry I don't have a clue what it is, but I thought you have to know that.
