Flame you!

j/k

The mod costs $450 if i remember correctly. I don't have a copy of his current e-mail address on hand but hopefully someone can append my post with it. If no one does, e-mail me and i'll mail you back when i get home.

You'll have to take out your VB and mail it to Don. There was supposedly a swap for 5th gen's available but i haven't heard of updates about that project lately.

Turnaround will depend on you, Don and the shipping methods used. If you're based in Houston he can do everything in a day (for an added fee he'll take it off, mod and put it back on for you)

What's the deal with it do you send them yours then they send a modded VB or they send one to you then trade it with the original.

Supposedly there's a member here at the Org made a deal with Don to start a trade-up program but i haven't heard any updated news on it.

Normally, you take out your VB. Mail it to Don, he modifies accordingly and sends it back to you. You then put it back in your car. (P.S. This only applies to 5th gens, Don seems to have core swap programs for 4th gens as of last check)

VB upgades alone are not very reliable. You should get the complete Level 10 kit.

How so? I even thought that Don's VB mod is better than L10's. (that is, just comparing VB mod against VB mod)

I am the member that is working with Don on the 5th gen swap. He has gotten the 5th gen. core in, and is in the process of getting everything he needs to mod it. Evidently, he was not able to get a part he needed, and has been in indirect correspondence w/ Nissan Corp., Japan, through Nissan Corp. USA-it has been slow going. Anyway, he is hoping to get everything taken care of shortly(?), at which point the swap program will be up and running for anyone to take advantage of.
