Different size tires front and rear? Anyone ever done this?
Different size tires front and rear? Anyone ever done this?
I was looking at Borbet Type "E" in 17in. I think they look sweet after seeing them on other 5g's.
I was wondering if going with 6.5" up front and upgrading to 7.5" rear will have any benefits? I want to keep it to 215/50R17's up front because I've read that steering feel and feedback is better on skinner tires and I would like the keep my current turning radius. I was thinking of 235/45R17's on the rear. It sounds like something on a sports car set up.
Should I do this? Or go for 225/45R17's all around on 7.5" rims?

i thought about doing this because the distributor only had two 18 x 8.5 rims and two 18 x 7.5 rims left in stock. if i did that i could have gotten them immediately but i decided not to and now i have to wait a few months for another shipment to come in from Japan.
this car is making me wait too much. 3 months for the car to be delivered after i ordered it. 1000 miles before i could play with it. a month before i get it back from the body shop (damn deer) and now i have to wait 2 or 3 months for my rims. this is torture!
