Due to my little $2000 fender bender, I got a new hood and a new nose...good news is that all my stone chips are gone from my old hood

It has been about a month since I got the car back....I want to protect the new paint so I got a Magnet Bra off of Ebay...The instructions say to wait 2 months for the paint to cure....I already have 2 chips If I wait another month I'm afraid of what the hood will look like...

Is a month enough time for the paint to "cure"? Any paint savvy guys?

 

4-6 weeks is what I have always heard, it really depends on the paint and how many coats it has.

 

Well it was done by the body shop at Kelly Nissan so I imagine they used the factory stuff (hence the 2 chips already) 4-6 sounds good as it has been almost 5 now... Thanks!

put the bra on now, but take it off every night.
