Magnet bra

Does anyone have one of these? Is it true they do not flap at all on the HW? I want to protect my car, but, traditional bras are too ricey for me and the plastic covers are too steep. ($400+)

I have one of these on my Max. I don't regret it at all. It looks nice and protects the front of the hood quite well. I haven't taken it off since I've installed it though. I'm sure there is a paint color different compared to the unprotected part of the hood. When the weather is cold and the bra gets a little loose, water and dirt does tend to get trapped under it though.

i have had one for 3 months or so. its nice, but i had to cut a little bit for installing it properly. i do take it off when i wash the car. it looks sweet, and will not come off nor will it flap around at high speeds

That looks like it would work pretty good. Even if you didn't want to use it all the time, it should be pretty easy to put on before a long trip or during bug season. And they are cheap too!

It would be pointless to get one for my car right now with the hood in the condition its in (lots and lots of permanent bug marks), but when I get it repainted I am definently going to get one.

had mine for about 5 months now. it is nice. a little difficult to put on. but it is worth the protection. believe me! does'nt flap at all. make sure you install it on a warm day and use a blow dryer on the first install. this will shape it for a better fit. i have a pic on my web site.http://members.cardomain.com/kjpierce

You car looks awesome. I have a 2k Sherwood Green GXE with the fugly wheels, but it doesn't look anything like that IMO. Once you put some wheels on a drop it that will be one sweet ride.

Oh yeah, magnet bra looks really good also. Low profile and not as noticable as others.

Does the magnet bra have something on the underside to protect from scratching the hood? If not have you had any problems with scratching?
