OK..i just bought some speakers for my 2000 Max GXE.
They're 6.5" Polks.

I have two questions:

#1) Are the front & rear door speakers actually 6.5"?
(cuz the Wiz & Circuit City didn't have the 2000+ Maxima in their computer database...so I'm just guessing on the size)

#2) Is it a pain in the @$$ to install speakers in the front & rear doors? How do you do it?
(I'm sure I will have to take off the door panels)
*** Telling me the specific locations of any screws or fastners would be greatly appreciated...any tips?

I'll scan the pages from the Nissan manual that shows how to remove the doors and email them to you later.

 

 

Front door is 6 1/2
Rear door is 5 1/4

taking the door panal off is not hard. the pain in the *** is the plastic Ring around the door handle. just pop that piece off carefully not using too much force or U'll break it. other wise its just screws and sanp inz in the door. Not hard to work with.
