Cattman Y -> Warpspeed

Has anybody made the switch from the Cattman Y-pipe to the Warpspeed. I am still getting that bees-in-a-can from the Cattman and I would really like to clean-up the sound a bit. Warpspeed had made the promise that their lined flex-section would prevent that. Can I get a witness?

Try header wrapping the flex section. I did that on mine and the sound went down quite a bit(mine was leaky though)

Have a different lined flex section welded in.

Both options would be cheaper

Yeah, Warpspeed will sell me their flex section separately from the y-pipe so I can have it welded in place of the Cattman...that's what I would do if I hear from some people who have the Warpspeed on their 5th gen's.

Or contact Cattman direct, MichaelAE. Brian may be willing to cut you a deal on one of his new 8" lined flex sections because you already own his Y-pipe. I imagine he'd prefer to do that than see you switch your allegiance to another Y-pipe manufacturer.

I have the same problem, f&&cking Cattman, the most expensive Y-Pipe and it has all these problems, I contacted him long ago when I first bought the pipe, and he said was..it is normal condition, I can't do anything about it.

Well, I am looking either to get Stillen's or hopefully get a Y-Pipe from Taiwan!
