I don't really like any of those rims,But I'm trying to find some 17inch All black rims for my white max to give it a Japan-racing look, like this integraIntegra Type R-2002
Those Rims Are Becketts FN-01R.

I think the C-10 will look the best. But you should check if they come in something bigger than 17". If not it's between the Tezas and the K-5's. I think that tire zise might be a little small. I am running 245/45-18 and I feel that they are a too low pro, I cant imagine running a 35 series tire. Also at 215, its not that wide of a tire.

Your car deserves a higher quality wheel. Look elsewhere.

A little small? That's the understatement of the century, cwally! What's the load rating on your tires, rob? Be honest.

I just pulled out my May 2002 issue and found the SINKO rims, they are a little to extreme I want something a little flatter like thishold on I put it in my next post

and did any one know Brembo has a Gran Turismo Brake kit for the Maxima now? I had requested them to make one is December and either I'm a fruit cake or a company actually read its suggestion box.

Rob, a 215 width tire will look very skinny on your car. If you are going to get 18 inch rims, Id go with a 235/40-18 tire.

If you're going to go with a 235/40R18, why not go with a 245/40R18, Dave? They require the same minimum rim width . . . 8". And the 245/40R18 is a better fit from both the standpoint of overall geometry (only a .5% speedo error vs a 1.8% speedo error for the 235/40R18) and load rating (typically a 93 load rating vs a 91 load rating for the 235/40R18). Or don't real men pay attention to that sort of thing?

And you're correct, of course, about the 215/35R18 looking a little skinny. It's more than a little skinny, IT'S COMPLETELY INSANE! After all, who in their right mind would run tires on their vehicle that have a combined load rating less than the gross vehicular weight of the car?

Beat you to it, freeze2k2. I just sent an e-mail to Kev asking him to remove my old thread on page 3 of the FAQs and replace it with a link to the following thread:

Enjoy!

Thank heavens you don't already own those tires, Rob. Running them on a Maxima would be just plain dangerous!

Get some 18" rims with a MINIMUM width of 8" and run 245/40R18 tires on them. It will cost you more than $1400, but you'll probably live a whole lot longer!
