I just got my kit installed and there was a problem with the exhaust rattling against the kit.

What did you guys do to resolve this?

The shop I went to is suggesting that they bend the hangars to have the exhaust hang a tad bit lower as to avoid contact.

What do you guys think?

 

you know the black rubber that the hangers hang onto???
just get stiffer ones
i got really stiff ones and the exhaust doesnt move at all now....

 

where can I purchase these stiffer rubber hangars you speak of?

If I can find them it would save me the trouble of selling the HKS and getting a Greddy...

 

they are really popular in a lot of shops....
i would assume it wouldnt rattle after you put it on
cuz i put mine on b4 i got my kit and i never had problems....
if you really cant find it, i think i can get it for you

but im sure you can find it locally....
worth a try...

 

have the body shop shave the kit down a little to make it just fit...i know some people that have done that with the greddy
