BF & AFT pics of Maxspeed

before

Honestly, the ride quality has not deteriorated one ounce.
Got it in the middle of rush-hour, so I didn't do a complete road test, but so far I am impressed.

More at eleven.

Install Date???

When did you install them? It may take a while to settle. Is that 18's you got there? The front looks a lot better with the drop though!

If I want a near stock ride but have the stability at high speeds (and a bit better looks) what would I go with. Maxspeeds? and with what struts, etc.

Installed yesterday, took pics at the shop. BF pics did have new springs and rsb in packing in the trunk. Might have something to do with it, but I am not that worried. Rear always seemed fine anyway.

They are 17x7.5" on 235/45-17

How much more do you think it will settle, doesnt look like it has much ways left of settling.

From what I have read here about .25".

Although, I have to say most Maxspeed owners here are new to the spring and have had them for weeks, not months or years.

Anyone have any long term experience w/ them?

Info@Performance-Cafe.Com

Or call us at: (831) 476-1530

They'll ask $120, tell them not to make you wait for the Maxima.org GD and you might get $90 (that's what I paid).

That's what I did.
I called them up, mentioned Maxima.org, and he sent them to me for $105.
I installed them this past weekend, and am very happy with the drop.
It does seem that the rear does not dorp much at all. But that's a good thing because now the front and rear have an even gap.

????

If i understand correctly, we're talking about lowering springs for only $105 shipped? and they don't really effect ride quality?
It looks like i might be interested in that.
And by the way, could i just put the springs on the front, and leave the back stock? what would happen?
thanks

I think shipping was $20?

After a few days of driving I now notice ride quality is effected, but not like I thought. I'm not wishing for a softer ride, I am wishing for less bounce. Might have to shop for some used SE struts/shock.

Well, you can't just buy fronts, so... I don't know what would happen. It'd probably be okay, but you wouldn't tighten up the rear body roll.

What exactly do you mean by less bounce. Most people that installed the springs said that they felt a little harsher but no one reported that the springs had more bounce to them. How much was the install?

Bumps make me car bounce. Normal driving won't be a problem. When I drive 60mph on a 25mph bumpy and twisty road the car bounces. I'm talking more bounces than bumps - say, during spirited driving, 2.5 bounces per 1 bump. It is because of my GXE shocks.

The install was $200 for springs and RSB (no alignment). I live in Omaha, NE and there are exactly TWO shops who would do this work and the other wanted $300 (including alignment). I have read of other members getting the job done for $100. Also of note, the rear springs/struts are a pain to change and might raise the cost for a Maxima.
