Tires

I've got a 2000 GLE and I need new tires. I don't want to go crazy on cost, it's a lease that goes back in 12 months. Any suggestions on which to buy and where to get them. I live in Nassau county on Long Island.

Thanks for your help.

As you probably know the stock Potenza's or Michelin's are in the 170's price range. I bought a pair of Nitto NT-450s yesterday online for 114 a tire shipped UPS!!! Go to tires.com and click on the tire retailer, from the org I know the Nittos are pretty good but might be a lil loud, hey for 114 how can you go wrong right...

If he has a GLE...

odds are he has 16" wheels/tires....

I would go to tirerack.com and check our their surveys...probably get good info on a number of tires...

Since it's a leased car, I would recommend buying tires from your local used tire shop. Why spend money on a car that you are returning in a year. As long as they are within the "legal" limit, the dealer can't say anything.

I've got 4 205/65-15 Dunlop SP5000 on steel rims with nissan covers and only 11k miles that will fit your GLE perfectly and are yours for the low, low price of $120 plus shipping.

Can't beat that with a stick!
