I saw this picture that is from someones car here at maxima.org. The point is that I like this wing but I dont know where I can purchase one like this one. Or who has it so I can ask them. Can anyone help. Thanks.

 

i think that's the apc wing.. i wanna see it in person.. i'm considering a low profile mid wing.

 

it's made by APC. i heard that they have no plan on mass producing this wing. i could be wrong.

I called in march when I got my import tuner magazine & it showed a pic of the spoiler...I called them up & got a bunch of dumb fu%ks that didnt know what I was talking about...so after 30min of not going anywhere I spoke to a manager there that was pretty cool & said this spoiler should be released by June. Claiming they just wanted to see how much response they would get & if its enough they will make it...On Monday I'll post his name, if you wanna call & ask for him (have the# @ work).

I called them about 5 times and never get a REAL person, always some automated crap. I do not know how APC makes any money doing bussiness like this, but I for one REALLY want tha spoiler

How are they much different than your 2k2's? Both have that Altezza look anyway...

 

i dont like the amber color though......but....dont want to break them out so just checking to see if it's availible for purchasing.

 

I like the wing myself. i also like how the took the amber out and made it red like the top on the tails. I would be interested in buyin the wing when its released.

 

im pretty sure they just modified the 2k2 tail lamps. use a heat gun to open up the housing of your tail lamps, paint the amber piece red, and reassemble.

 

I also REALLY like the wing to. I wonder if anyone else makes on similar to this one. Does anyone know?

 

A heat gun does not do jack on opening up 2000 + tails. They are pressure fitted to gether and also seem to be melted together some what with plastic. There is no glue invloved and the only way in is to cut them open(to my knowledge). I tried and broke 3 sets..

arent your tail lamps full red circles now? i remember there was a really long thread about you clearing out your tail lamps a while back. i never got around to reading the end of it. did you give up on the red/clear, or did you just decide that the full red would look better? and what did you use to cut them open?

 

can anyone get access to the car and get better pictures?

i bet we could get some other manafacturer to produce a derivitive of it.

I have tried calling a number of times and got nobody! VERY frustrating. The wing is not on their web site either. I do not know what the hell is going on with this wing, but I have seen it in magazine adds for about 2-3 months now, and there is obviously positive feedback for it, so where the hell is APC? I personally like my all blacked out tails, so I do not care about the tail lights, but some info on them would be nice too. Are they new or modded? Knowbody knows anything about that APC Maxima besides the fact that the color is extremely ugly but the back is VERY nice! HELP!!!!!
