Rattles only covered for 12 months/ 12K Miles?

I have an irritating rattle in the middle of my dash at nearly any speed. When I touch the left side of the clock the rattle stops.

I went to my dealership with this problem and they said that squeeks and rattles are only covered for the first 12 months or 12K miles. Is this true? If this is true, then how can they call it a "Bumper to Bumper" warranty?

In your warranty manual that's what they call the 'adjustment period' and yep it's 12 months... Kind of sucks compared to american cars warranties but fortunately they do have less rattles.
