hey does anyone know the specs of the new 2003 maxima??? I'm thinking of getting that, although i also own a 2k2 maxima ...(e.i horsepower, torque)...ok cool, thankz...later...

 

ive tried looking every where even the dealership i deal with and im very close to the owner and he wont tell me ne thing all he said is that hes gonna have one in about 4 weeks and yes im thinking of trading my 2k max in on it as soon as it arives even if i dont im taking pics of it and posting them

And knowing Nissan, the 2003 will have 265 hp. You'll get the bohlscheist just like the 2k-2k1's did on the 255 hp motor.

 

Yeah, big dealer up here had only 4 Maxes left on the lot...must be close to 2003 model year.

 

i heard the 2K3s will still be the 5th gen.. nothing will be dramatic for the 6th gen until the year 2004-5. one thing's for sure, the 2K3s will be in the same class as the avalon.. so if u want to be associated with that.. good luck.

 

2k3 Maximas will be the same as 2k2. Our D.O.M from Nissan (District Operations Manager) said they will be the same and 2k4 will be getting the whole new make-over.

 

Only time will tell.....

 

Oh well...I took delivery on mine just last week! I guess that's the tradeoff for getting a price under invoice.

 

spoke with a sales person in Toronto dealer. Only stylistic change is for the SE model (titanium interior finishing). HP and torque stay the same. Go for 2002 and get the discount.

Don't worry the 2003 is just a bunch of BS! I say that becuase it is never even going to be made in 2003, it's really just a 2002. The 2004 is comming out in January of 2003 and of course it is actualy just a 2003. Ya, I'm ****ed too.. The logical thing nissan should have done with out ****ing all of the 2002 owners off is just call the January launched 2004 a 2003 but instead nissan decided to screw us over and make our "new" car's 2 years old in a matter of months.. Now I understand the anger all of the 2000-2001 owners felt when hte 2002 came out.

In return I am just going to keep this car for a long, long time probably so that I don't even care about it's $hity resale value.

 

Lucky you, your car will be 2 years old in 6.5 months..
