I've got the GC's. I have no experience with any other coils, but they are fairly stiff. I have the adjustable coil overs and my front end is all the way down and my rear is all the way up- the Max sits kinda weird to begin with. But when I put the 19"s on, it rides like crap- between my 35 series tires and stiff shocks, I sometimes get motion sickness.....for real.

Well I just put the Ground Controls in my car and I dont have any that squeak. The performance handling is good but all around driving through the city could become very bouncy. I have the front lowered until there is about 1 left from the bottom and the rear is about 1/2 from the bottom. I dont know how the ride whould be if I had changed them out for some Koni's or Tokico's. Yes I am on the stock struts for now but I plan on changing these out and getting some JIC or TIEN. Ill have to see which I like better.

I would say the ride quality is more a function of high spring rate and low suspension travel than of the 35 series tire. You just can't expect much of a ride with so little travel on the shocks. Your ride would likely be much better with standard, progressive rate springs with less than 2" of lowering but then you might not like the ride height! Its a trade off though.

You'd be surprised....my 19"s are in the shop right now and I have the stock 17"s on with the same suspensions and I LOVE it. It looks great and rides great...I'm tempted to scrap the 19"s altogether..... But the GC rides tight and smooth with the 17"s...

You're right, I am surprised! I'm planning to install some 18s with Eibach pro-kits and see how they are on stock struts. Probably as low as I'll need for now. Good luck whichever way you go!
