Tailight removal

Anybody have the tricks or links to get this thing out...

I am trading my se's with a guy and he tried for two hours to get the lights out!

1) Remove rear trunk trim panels
2) Remove four (4) nuts for each tail lamp lens
3) Heat edge of lens around the entire perimeter to loosen the butyl rubber seal (use heat gun)
4) Carefully pry off the lens once the butyl seal is loose
5) Completely clean the old seal before install a NEW seal, trying to reuse the old seal WILL cause leaks.
6) When placing new seal be sure to get as even as possible. Will tend to become thin around corners if stretched too much
7) Heat new seal to soften (needs to be heated to around 130-140 degrees F to allowing better fit
8) Carefully line up lens and tighten nuts to complete seal
9) Replace trunk trim

pretty hard job!

I never realized it would be such a hard thing to do. I need to tell the guy he needs to be careful!

Were would I find a new butyl seal? Thanks.
