Pretty silly question, but for $400, get a Y-pipe and Intake. You'll see a slight improvement.

Nitrous will get expensive REAL quick with refils. Go with the Y Pipe. Sounds purdy. But now I'm hooked and I am running 2" piping after the catalytic converter with a new muffler.

 

How much are you guys paying for the refills, and how many runs do you get out of the average bottle.

 

Supposedly ~$3/lb.

Depending on the shot, you can get 7-10 1/4-miles out of a bottle. If you only use it in 2nd and 3rd even more. Just what I've heard.

The COST of the refills in NOT a big deal. The problem is the urge to up the shot from a 50hp to a 70hp, which requires a FPR, EGT guage, and modified MSD RPM window switch. Then the urge to up the shot from 70hp-100hp, which requires a Walbro fuel pump and fuel tuning at a minimum. So, as you can see it starts to add up quick.

The $499 JC Whitney price is going to quickly escalate into $1200-$1500 TOTAL depending on what guages you run. However, you can SPANK Kev's SC'd autoMAGIC with 300+ lb-ft of torque on a 100-shot and it is only on when you "need", NOT all the time like a SC.
