lol, sounds nice..but by then Chaz in Jacksonville should have a 5spd tranny, and I should be converted, in which case I will be a newbie driver. If I do however learn to drive the stick good, and we do end up meeting say at the village for a race, I will try to be fair and race you in reverse

Hell, i'll even bring my large friend to slow me down even more

I am 16 as of March 9. I got my 2000 Maxima 2 days ago, looked on autotrader.com for a few months found a 2000 5 speed for $15,000 with only 10,500 miles. Thought that it had been in an accident but a Nissan dealership was selling it so I just called anyway, seems the guy had made a misprint on the ad but still honored the price for us, it was actually selling for 17,000. Then the guy had told us it had a cd player on it but it didn't so he gave us a check for $300. They dealership was Pollack Nissan in Gadsden, Alabama, had to drive 6 hours to get it back to Pensacola, Fl. But the guy was awesome, but we are more than likely going to bring him 2 more sales, my dad and sister want one now also. My dad is jealous of my car and he has a brand new E430, and my sis is getting a new car for college graduation. So, just had to vent about that wonderful buying experience. But yah I am also 16 so I guess we are tied.

not to hate on freshly licensed drivers, but it is all of the young ones that cause stupid accidents. i.e. one of my bro's friends came close to death, because the driver of the car that the kid was in rear-ended a bus while racing another person. the only thing that i can say is JUST BE CAREFUL. it only takes one mistake

Re: Re: Youngest Maxima Driver

My family may be on the top for these two categories

Bought my Y2K SE when I was 20 (in 2000), this after seeing how well my dad's '91 GXE held up... well after I bought my SE, dad decided he loved it too so he bought a new GXE He's 67 right now...

So how about 20 / 67 .. who has these beat

Re: 16???

Hey my bday was in feb. too...

But honestly, please disregard my previous post about being 20 when I bought it two years ago. I was actually 14 and I live in a small country town in Poland... no problems with licenses here since nobody needs one to drive; as long as you can reach the pedals and see above the dash (just like my great-great grandma Yolka), you're fine.

... <cough>... lame ....
