What's up with my Stillen FSTB???
After installing the Stillen strut brace, my first thought was "the ends are slotted--that bar's gonna move."
So, I marked the postition with a pencil and after 2 days of driving the bar had shifted about 3/8".
Is the bar supposed to move back and forth during normal driving? It seems solid when pulling on it by hand. I torqued the bolts properly.
I talked to a guy at stillen, but he didn't have a clue.
Any ideas?

Yeah, I noticed that too. But I just centered my bar and torqued it down there. Have you noticed your driver's side windshield squirter hose being blocked from the FSTB hitting up against the heat shield under the hood? It's been a problem for me.

Just to be clear, are you talking about the new Stillen two-piece bar that attaches to the firewall? (or so it appears from the picture in the catalog.)

I was in the market to soon buy a FSTB,and Stillen was one of my choices. Is it better to go with the one from Nissan (www.courtestynissan.com)? Does that one have these problems?
