I just purchased 19" wheels for my 2k max. I'm going with 235 35 19 on the tires. What shocks have the best ride? I don't want a really hard riding shock. Could I keep my stock shocks? Or should I go to the Tokicos or Konis? Plus I know with 19" that I'm going to have a hard ride, but which shocks will make it less harsh? Thanks Tom

I would like to see how 19" look on the max.. IMO, I think thats a little large.. but curious to see. I wish I had 18's... dont know how 19's would look.

Re: Please post pictures once wheels are on
As soon as I get them on I'll post some pics. The reason why I went with the 19" look is because it's a 3 piece type of rim. On 3 piece rims 18" looks like 17" wheel. That's why I went with the 19" wheels. If I was going to buy a one piece wheel then I would have went to an 18". By the way, your car looks sweet with the seventeens. When you own a black maxima you can't tell between 17" and 18" wheels. Your 17" wheels look sweet. I own the Icelandic Pearl white color, hence the 19" Wheels. By the way, what did you lower your car with? Shocks and springs?

Thanks man; lowered the car with Ground Control coils, with some pretty stiff springs. Going to purchase the tokico or koni shocks as soon as I can verify that either are available. Put about 20k on the stock shocks.. and after this winter I've gotta change them.. Autocross is kicking my *** with the stock shocks.
