rearview side mirror with hyperwhite blinkers
I have liked the rearview side mirrors that have the blinkers on them since I saw the expedition and the beamer do it at a left turn
OBX sells them for the 95-99 maxima in manual and power with all the hardware (for a mere $140....
what do ya think??

OBX no longer deals with the first local distributor of thier products that is listed on thier site.
I called today and they gave me the number of two others in Miami, FL
....then they also told me that I could buy the mirrors
now of course when I call the local distributor (Blitz Wheels) they say NO...the mirrors have not been released for distribution yet...I tell him that the OBX rep told me something different!
he called OBX with me on the phone and THEN they say that the mirrors will be released in 3-4 weeks.
ok...fine..we can wait.
next issue...Eddie (the dude at Blitz wheels) is willing to give us a group buy discount of 10% with 10 buyers and 20% with 20 buyers
once I get more info on the mirrors I will update this thread and put the info in the group buy forum
if you want to call and aggravate Blitz Wheels (ask for Eddie!!)

according to OBX (who are already confused about the release date mind you)
the mirrors work for 1995 and up Maxima's
but don't get excited until I post all of the information!!
And do the blinkers only come in one color, the hyperwhite? Any other colors like amber, etc... I'm assuming they're using LEDs in there...

i will add to my list of questions
1. Do they fit 1995 and up or is that a misprint?
2. Are they painted (stock colors)or will they need to be painted?
3. Is the price for one or two mirrors?
4. Are they manual and electric as stated on the on the website?
5. Is all the hardware included as stated on the site?
6. Are there other options for the bulb color?
7. the most important question...can we get a discount????

Update on the status of the rearview mirros with hyperwhite blinkers
I just spoke to the local Miami distributor....he put in a call today to OBX and they have not released the mirrors for retail sale.
so he is now looking for another manufacturer who makes an application for the 5th generation maxima 00-02
I will give him another call in two weeks

but the ones the mercedez have they told me it would Not fit my 2k2 they have to custom fix the product and is very expensive!! but you always have hope someone knows a better way!!

MY CONTACT HAS SPOKEN TO THREE DIFFERENT MANUFACTURERS OF THE MIRRORS, AS SOON AS SOMETHING IS MADE FOR THE MAXIMA, HE WILL GIVE ME A CALL

I am still waiting on OBX to release the application or for someone else to make it for the Maxima....but in the meantime I got to thinking
and wondering....if any of the Infiniti's had these type of mirrors
annnndddddd I just got off the phone with the local infiniti parts department....
I was told that the 2002 Q45 has the exterior mirrors with the blinker like the one pictured above.
I have part numbers and prices:
Stock package
Passenger side mirror $412.03 # K6301AR260
this is the regular price ..I don't know anyone over there so of course there is no discount
Driver's side: $412.03 #K6302AS060
premium package has subtle differences but the guy in the part dept had no idea what the differences were
drivers side: K6302AS000 $607.42
passenger side: K6301AR210 $483.69

I plan on visting the dealer this week to get some pics of the car with the blinker/mirrors see how they look ....and figure out how dang far fetched this idea is!!
