About 8 more HP and 5TQ, wish they would hurry up with the Maxima one, but damn that price, $320!

Ugh...you have to remove the whole front bumper to get the filter on. That means that everytime you want to clean or change your filter, off comes the bumper...pain in the **** if you ask me.
I had to take my front wheel and fender molding off to get at my GSR filter with the AEM CAI...and I got really tired of that.

I don't think you will have to go that far with the Maxima. Remove a couple of clips from the panel under the bumper and you have full access. That's where I hide my Radar Detector, no bumper removal needed.

I hope you're right. If not, I'm going with berk/frank I suppose.

I think they had the bumper off to show what it looks like, kinda like "cutaway" of an engine at the autoshows.

My biggest problems is the $320 price!

Hey DrVolkl, Go with Berk Tech, I have it on for like 3 months and so far so good, no check engine light or anything just a nice growl and a few more hp.

Cheers

I actually read the post and they said to get the air filter on, they had to remove the bumper. The intake fit on...but the filter was too big. I've only had my Max a month and have only had the hood open about 3 times, so I'm not too familiar with the workings of the car. Hopefully ours will not be as difficult. Someone just mentioned that another CAI is on the market...for $224. Sounds nice, more info needed. I want the most HP without having to hassle over getting at the filter. So far, Frank/Berk seem to be the two best (when $ is an issue). Still haven't decided on which one since everyone seems to be split on which is better. It's been debated to death.

my brother has an injen intake on his 240. Hes had it for a while and it still looks very good and like new. The polished steel also looks very nice and The quaily very good.

If its gonna cost more than $260 Id probably just get the PR intake and swith the filter to APEXi.

Does any one know what type of red filter the altima had on it?? is that a k&N?

I'm pretty sure I've seen the injen CAI at options auto for the 2002...for $242. Take a look.
