Everybody Celebrate!

Yesterday the Spindle Dave overnighted me arrived and I slapped it on... My car is now 100% driveable!

Just need to send in rim to be repaired and go get it painted, but other then cosmetic problems its 100% ok.

Nissan quoted me $3468 for repairs... Ended up costing me a little less then $500 having the parts overnighted (twice) to me. (Plus $100 for rim repair).

Nissan said the wait would be 5-6 weeks... I am done in 7 days.

Thanks alot DaveB and everyone who helped. My baby is back!

Since I replaced the Lower Control Arm and Spindle I think the strut is the only thing it could be.

Congrats man, I'm glad you ended up not being scr*w up by Nissan. it may sounds OT, but I'm renovating my house these days and I asekd few contractors to make me a quote to rebuilt my kitchen, everyone who came to my house quoted me between 15-25K, I was like WTF, I ended up doing it myself over the last 4 days and my overall cost are around 4K. If you are ready to pay the price of efforts and sweat you will save a bundle every time.

Cheers

AA

I need a fast opinion... I can't spend much money but want to fix the camber problem...

Do I:

1) Buy a new strut + mount from DaveB (how much?)

2) Buy a Camber plate from Stillen for $336

(My strut is bent... Camber is 1.5 degrees off)

the cost of 4 aftermarket struts (tokicos for example) is roughly the equivalent of one OEM nissan strut and mount

Since you already have experience ripping your suspension apart, i say drive around with the bad camber until you have the cash to buy some aftermarket struts.

Get ready for some new tires if you wait too long.... I'd get it fixed...but that's just the way I am. ***** out some of your mods to cover it.

Don't want to, but I gotta say it,
didn't I tell you, you'd be surprise at the difference by just contacting DaveB.

I told DaveB once the .org should probly write a letter on his behalf to Nissan, to promote him to oversee their servicing department operations. 3 cheers for DaveB (thanks again)

Glad for you man, get your six back to 100%.
