H3 Bulbs........

Has any of you guys had any experience installing H3 fog light bulbs higher than 55 watts??? I just got me some Super White H3 bulbs but they are 80 watts. Has anyone had bad experience with this kind before?? Any suggestions???

I have H3 PIAA SUper Plasma bulbs in my fogs, and they are fine, not to mention the match with my HID's

Hey Mike, how many watts are those PIAA??? I got some other kind, what I am trying to find out is, if the wattage really matter as far as the wire/lense burning if the watts are too high.

You should have no problem with the wattage, they are >>>Wattage 55w = 85w, 5000K<<<<

To answer your question correctly,
IF you are running a higher wattage bulb, you run the chance of either melting your harness, or melting the housing for the fogs.
It is highly recommended that you stay with the stock wattage.
