Those with Apex'i Rev/Speed Meter

I found what I think is a great price on the meter here. I am wondering that the difficulty is for the install? Does the unit come with instructions even though its a universal meter? I am looking to pick this up soon as long as I can put it in myself or at least with the help of a friend with some basic electronic knowlege. Thanks in advance.

I think I bought it around that price. The install is not supposed to be too hard but I don't wanna take any chances with my ECU. Most of the speed shops here won't even attempt to install it on my car. There is one shop that will do it though. Most people said that if you get the wiring diagram then the install should be easy if you are electronically talented. I had more important things to install lately so it has been sitting for about a month now.

Well, I would not consider myself talented and I have not been able to find anyone around me that will install it. I guess I will ask around for someone that has more electronics experience than me, which mighht not be saying much.

Y2KevSE has an RSM installed on his 5th gen. He should be able to tell you all about it. I'll PM the ECU pin chart for it.
