IS300 wheels?

I have someone who will sell me his lexus is300 wheels with tires for $500. What do you guys think? Good deal? DO you think it will look good? I would have to pay $100 for a tire shop to bore out the lug holes to fit though. Tires are only 215/45-17....i would like larger tires but i can get larger ones when these wear out.

I don't know about worth it, but I thought those rims were one of the best looking stock rims!

. . . if you survive long enough to buy new tires, that is. I'd suggest you check the load rating on those 215/45R17 tires BEFORE you put them on your Maxima. BTW, how wide are those rims?

Why would you want to look like an IS300 ? Thats like buying a Camaro, and putting Mustang wheels on it... ?.... ... Look at Circo's wheels, they are similar, and nicer.... I dont understand some of you guys.. to each his own !

yeah but will those wheels cost $500? the guys wants to save a few bills and make his maxima look nicer. i say go for it... except... cuz its small i dont think it'll look as hot as you want it to look. personally i wouldnt put a rim that is associated with another car on my car... even infiniti rims... but thats just me. rims are expensive.

those are (like CIRCO said) the best looking stock rims...well next to Maximas . but i think they only look good on an is300. maybe we're just so use to seeing them on an is300.

I used to have them...

The offset is kinda high (too tucked in)...

But they do look nice...

Also, you dont bore the lug holes!!
You have to widen the center bore...
You know the hole in the middle where the centercap goes...

Don't worry about putting the LEXUS centercap on cuz you have no choice, it wont go on once you bore the center hole...

I agree...the IS300 wheels are the best stock rims I've ever seen...but only when it's on the Lexus. I think the 5th gen Max SE rims are definitely the 2nd best. (Well AMG and M rims are pretty nice too...)

i second that...

i think if you can fit 225/50s on them, they'll help with the load and the traction.
