Ripped Leather
Ripped Leather
Ok..here's the deal.....im drivin along bring my girlfriends computer to get fixed. I put it behind the pass. seat on the floor. My girlfriend decides to recline the seat. She gets it pretty far back and it stops. She looks, realizes the computer is there and raises it back up. I said that leather better not have ripped. Well, I go to take out the computer and sure enough....there's a small tear in the back of the seat. Anyone know of anyway to fix it? Will I need to replace the whole back part? Have the whole seat re-leathered or is there a kit that works very well? Its not a HUGE rip, but its enough to bother me. Thanks in advance.......
MaxSB,
You'll find that in most vehicles that the apron and back of seats are vinyl rather than leather, most are leather fronted ( anywhere the body touches ) and this being the case a vinyl repair might be in order, run by an upholstery shop they might be able to put you on the right tract if not repair it themselves.
